水膠（即乳液型丙烯酸脂壓敏膠），是丙烯酸脂單體經表面活性劑乳化，在以水為介質下經乳液聚合而得到。與溶劑型壓敏膠相比，乳液型產品明顯地具有成本低，操作安全，不污染環境等優點。水性雙面膠粘帶是在基材的兩面涂上水膠，再覆以易剝離的離型材料制造而成。
Water acrylic adhesives are produced by Emulsion Polymerization ,using surface-active agents to emulsify the acrylic ester,water as the media.Comparing with solvent acrylic adhesives ,water acrylic adhesives have the advantages such as lower cost,more safe,no environmental pollution etc.Double side tapes with solvent acrylic adhesive are constructed water adhesive on the both sides of the carrier,then laminate a casy-peel release liner on the tape.
